Watch: A Day In My Life

By  |  22 Comments

When Revlon asked if I’d let a video crew follow me around for a day to see how I use some of my favorite PhotoReady products I was super . . .  terrified excited!

I’ve been a huge fan of Revlon products for years and really love the PhotoReady range but I must be honest – I was shaking at the knees at the thought of being on camera. For starters I hate the sound of my own voice (is that just me or what?) not to mention I just don’t like seeing myself on video – it makes me cringe. But I love the products and so agreed to take part. In the end it was a whole lotta fun and we filmed it on a day when we were shooting the first-ever fashion shoot for The Style Insider. We’ll unveil the shoot next week but here’s how my day rolled out.

I’ve been trialling these products for quite some time now and wanted to share with you a few of my favourite Photoready tips.

Revlon Photoready Skinlights

Skinlights is the best way to fake a natural looking, healthy glow. It’s a lightweight, sheer illuminator that can be used on it’s own or mixed with your favourite foundation.

  •  Swipe a small amount of Revlon Photoready Skinlights onto your eyelids to give your eyes a natural, youthful sheen. Add lashing of mascara for a fresh, dewy look.

Revlon Photoready Eyeshadow

  •  The Revlon Photoready Eyeshadow palettes make it easy to apply eyeshadow like a pro. For a more intense look dampen the sponge applicator on the Revlon Photoready Eyeshadow palette before applying shadow. This will create a stain effect which makes for easy blending and your colour will also last longer.
  • Say goodbye to eyeshadow creasing forever by swiping a small amount of primer onto the entire eyelid area and leaving to set for a few minutes before applying Photoready Eyeshadow.

Revlon Photoready BB Cream

This product is a must-have in your beauty bag. It’s a lightweight, multipurpose cream that hydrates like a moisturiser, smoothes like a primer, covers like a foundation and blurs flaws like a concealer – all while offering a broad spectrum SPF 30 protection.

Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup

This lightweight foundation gives flawless coverage without feeling heavy or cakey on your skin. It’s beautiful.
