Holly Fulton Spring/Summer 13 – London Fashion Week

Makeup by MAC’s Andrew Gallimore

I love this cute little statement lip. It’s modern and feminine and easy to recreate at home using your own makeup kit. You could even have a bit of fun and try different colour combinations.

Here’s how the MAC team created this look

The Look: A two-toned lip

The Inspiration: MAC Artist Andrew Gallimore was inspired by a Cool California 50s girl with a toasted tan and summer freckles.

Select Cover-Up — lightly blended over hydrated skin to create an even, flat, “mannequin” look to skin.
2. Lingering and Strut Eye Brow pencils — used to stipple freckles across the nose and cheeks, varying in size and density, and then patted over with a fingertip to create a “realness” to skin.
3. MAC Pro Blotting Powder – Loose — swept through the T-zone to polish and set.

1. Embrace Me Lip Penci
l — used to define the bow of the lip and contour a more rounded shape, while avoiding the
centre of the lower lip.
2. M·A·C PRO Fuchsia and White Lipmix — mixed to create a neon pink and applied through the outer corners of the lip.
3. M·A·C PRO Orange Lipmix — applied though the middle of the lip towards the lower lip edge, finger width in size, in a
rounded heart shape.
4. 217 Blending Brush — used to softly blur the two hues of fuchsia and orange together to finish.

Brows are combed and groomed.
