Fashion trends come and go but a great pair of jeans are a rock-solid basic in just about every stylish woman’s wardrobe.  They’re the perfect foundation piece for almost any outfit and when money is tight they’re especially great because they can be dressed up or worn more casually.

This season flares and bell bottoms are making a comeback but before you start panicking there truly is a perfect pair for everyone. That’s why we’ve teamed up with The Warehouse to show you how to wear the latest styles without blowing the budget.

A simple pair of distressed denim skinnies are a perfect starting point for many chic looks. Remember to balance your proportions so if you’re wearing skinny jeans you can afford a little more volume on top with a loose-fitting shirt or over-sized knit.

Double denim was once seen as the ultimate fashion faux pas but fortunately the look is back and bigger than ever. The key to not looking too matchy matchy is to choose different shades of denim and break it up with a tonal tee.

Light jeans really can be as flattering as black jeans but the key is to make sure they aren’t too tight. That’s why a loose-fitting boyfriend jean is a great choice if you want to go a little lighter this season.

The key to wearing flares and bell bottom jeans is to make sure they don’t overwhelm your legs – especially if you are petite. They should be fitted to the knee and then flare out gently. Flares are great for elongating your legs too.
