FASHION DIY – MAKE YOUR OWN CRYSTAL NECKLACE

Winter is the perfect time to hunker down and lose yourself in a fun DIY project. We fell in love with this gorgeous crystal necklace from Stripes & Sequins so thought it would be a cool fashion project to sink our teeth into. To make it easy we’ve even found where to get all the supplies you need. Time to get started.

Materials

7 x 6mm Jump Rings

5 x large (12mm x 16mm) End Caps

Brass Curb Chain

Pliers

E6000 Glue

Lobster Clasp

5 x large Rough Cut Quartz Crystals

Suppliers

Etsy sells great chains, beads and all sorts of craft supplies and they ship to NZ.

Crystal Light sells rough cut crystals in New Zealand.

Craft Runners sells a huge selection of chain, beads, jump rings, clasps, end caps etc.

Above: Start by loading up an end cap with glue. Seriously… use a lot of glue.
