Not only is this palette a perfect intro to theBalm because it gives you the chance to try a number of different products, but it truly is all you need to pack if you’re heading away on holiday. It includes nine beautiful eyeshadows, a luminizer, a bronzer, two blushers and two gorgeous lip colours. The palette is also pretty universally flattering so the colours will suit just about everyone. After having a play with this palette, I was so impressed, I couldn’t wait to get get my hands on the rest of the collection.

Mary-Lou Manizer

Apart from its adorable packing, this beautiful champagne-coloured highlighter is the BEST new addition to my makeup collection. Why? Well it also doubles as a shimmer powder an eyeshadow and of course it’s a gorgeous luminizer. It’s super-pigmented and blends like a dream which means you can build the sheen to create a pretty highlight for day or a super shimmer for night.

Balm Beach

If you’re looking for a blush to give you a perfectly nude, sun-kissed glow look then this is the one for you. Not only is it a beautiful warm-neutral toned blusher but the texture is gorgeously silky so it glides on effortlessly over makeup and doesn’t look cakey. And the best bit is, the staining powder formulation means it doesn’t budge.

The Balm Girls Lipstick

There are six shades of these gorgeous Bond girl-inspired lippies and all are highly pigmented so are extra long-wearing which I love. The lipsticks also contain lip conditioners to stop your smackers from drying out and to keep the colour looking gorgeous for longer. They also have a divine minty smell to them which makes them a real pleasure to apply.

Smoke Balm

If you find black and deep brown eyeshadows a tad intimidating you’ll love this new Smoke Balm palette. The deepest shade is called Kindle and it’s a gorgeous deep green shimmery shadow. The matte shade is called Glow and it’s a beautiful warm toned earthy taupe. The lightest she is Combust and it’s a stunning yellow toned gold shimmer shadow. This gorgeous colour combo is all you need to create a simple, sultry, smokey eye. The shadows can also be used with a wet brush to up the intensity or to double as an eyeliner.

Balms Away

Not only is this the BEST product I’ve tried in a LONG time to remove my eye makeup but I’m convinced it has also helped to grow and strengthen my lashes too. This amazing wax-based eye makeup remover is actually designed to condition as it removes and doesn’t even need to be washed off! You simply apply a dollop onto your closed eye and gently move the product around in a circular motion and then wipe it away with a soft tissue and viola! It removes highly pigmented products with ease and hasn’t caused any irritation which often happens to me with regular eye makeup removers.

Meet Matt(e) Trimony

The Matt(e) Trimony (a play on the word matrimony) palette is the third and newest member of the Meet Matt(e) palette series. The original was Meet Matt(e) and it was followed up by Meet Matt(e) Nude. Not surprisingly all of the shadows are . . . you guessed it . . . matte. While this new palette is being touted as perfect for wedding/bridal makeup we think it’s too gorgeous not to use every day. The deep dark plum, beautiful burgundy and pretty pink make it a highly covetable palette. The matte black is also super handy for creating the perfect smokey eye and the best bit is the colours all blend seamlessly. The real beauty of this palette is that it includes both warm and cool toned shadows which allows you to create a lot of different looks. The shadows are not only incredibly creamy to apply but they are also super pigmented which means you don’t have to work hard to create a flawless look. In short, it’s a must-have!
