Healthy Chocolate Muffin Smoothie

In winter it’s often hard to get enough healthy foods into our diets but adding them to a smoothie makes it quick and easy – not to mention delicious. So today, in the final part of my Six Week Winter Wellness series, I’ve made a delicious Chocolate Muffin Smoothie.

This smoothie tastes so delicious it’s hard to believe it’s packed full of healthy goodness. I also don’t usually freeze my banana for this one as I tend to like it cold but not ice cold at this time of year.

CHOCOLATE MUFFIN SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp ground chia seeds
  • 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 3 tsp almond meal
  • Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

Method

Blend ingredients together and enjoy!

Above: To make a thicker smoothie simply add a little less almond milk.
