So if you’re like me and love the taste (or the idea) of a pastry in the morning then you’re going to love this simple Cinnamon Roll Smoothie. Not only does it taste divine, but it’s super healthy and great for helping you feel full longer – no more mid morning cravings!

CINNAMON ROLL SMOOTHIE

Serves 2

Ingredients

1 cup Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1/2 cup coconut yoghurt (or Greek)
1/4 cup oats
1 Tbs brown sugar (optional)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 frozen banana (if using fresh add 3-4 ice cubes)

 

Method

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Enjoy!

 

VARIATIONS

Add 2 tsps of instant coffee (or a short black espresso) if you’re like me and can’t survive without a caffeine fix in the morning.

Replace the brown sugar with 2 x medjool dates

For an extra spicy kick add a 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Pack an extra punch by adding a Tbsp of protein powder

Coconut Yoghurt is dairy free (perfect if you’re lactose intolerant, paleo or vegan) and it’s a good source of bone-building calcium along with magnesium and vitamins B-12 and D.
