Beautiful lengths

Pantene has today launched an amazing campaign with Look Good Feel Better to help
support New Zealand women living with cancer. The Beautiful Lengths National Donate Your Hair Week is a first for New Zealand and aims to inspire women to donate their hair so it can be made into real-hair wigs for women undergoing cancer treatment.

This week women all around New Zealand are joining forces and cutting their hair for this incredible cause.

Real hair wigs are a luxury few people can afford but they can help women with cancer feel a little bit more like themselves again.

General Manager of New Zealand’s Look Good Feel Better, Yvonne Brownlie, says Pantene Beautiful Lengths is a great way for women to rally together and donate their hair in support of New Zealand women living with cancer. ”Women who undergo cancer treatment just want to feel like themselves and a real-hair wig can make such a huge difference to a woman’s
self-esteem during this difficult time,” says Yvonne.

National Donate Your Hair Week is an opportunity for Kiwi women to support other women and help give them encouragement, hope and happiness.

The History of Beautiful Lengths

Since 2006, Beautiful Lengths in North America has received an incredible 303,998 ponytails. With enough hair to create 24,000 real wigs, Pantene has helped to transform the lives of thousands of women across the US.

This is a great story of some fab young girls in Canada who joined forces to donate their hair for Beautiful Lengths.
